We are not that company. We found the Blogger name was free, so we took it to warn you about scams that have been and are still going on today.

We do NOT provide any appraisals or sell domain registrations. We are only warning people about current situations.

The link in the first paragraph seems to be a page put on a fake site, TheNamePros.com to discredit posts such as this one on NamePros.com. But NamePros is an established forum site with many members from around the world and is for the most part a very ethical and honest site.

I could name the scammers, but I think it is more important to get out the following simple message so everyone can avoid paying for an appraisal they do not need and which may be worthless anyway:

Domain sellers should NEVER, EVER pay for an appraisal because someone asked them to, or made it a condition of sale. After you pay for the appraisal, the buyer will make some excuse and go away. You will think, "Oh well, I can sell this valuable domain to someone else." But chances are your domain is either worthless, or it is worth much less that the appraisal indicates. Use Estibot.com for a quick appraisal of your domain, but keep in mind that when you find a buyer they may only pay between 5% and 20% of the apprasaised value. If you want to pay for an appraisal, find a PROFESSIONAL service that offers this and not some junky-looking site where the owner doesn't even list their contact information.

If you have already paid for an apprasial because of a scam, you may still get your money back. Visit http://www.namepros.com/639974-another-scam-letter-elite-investment-group-8.html and read how several people got refunds from the payment processor they used.

Good Luck!
